The top 25 finishers in each championship race will receive a medal. The top three state teams will receive an award as well. The top seven athletes from each state will be scored as a team. These individuals and teams will be recognized in an award ceremony following the championship races.
The top placing middle school teams (5 or more runners) will be honored and so will the top placing club team. A total of 8 first place trophies and 8 second place trophies will be presented.
Payment for this event can be made online (MileSplit) or via check. Both forms of payment are due at the time of registration closing. These are entry fees and not competition fees. That means once registration closes, the total on MileSplit is what you owe whether the athletes run or not.

The course is a spectator friendly PR machine! It is flat, fast, and grass nearly the entire way. The course begins with a 400m straight shot to the backwoods line and follows the treeline for the first mile. From there competitors make a small loop on the opposite field to the start and then retrace their first mile back.
Spikes and flats are both allowed.
T-Shirts and apparel will be on sale at the event and the day prior. Every year of this event we have sold out in mere minutes so grab one early! Prices will start at $30 and every athlete's name will be on the back!

The second division is 6th grade & under, this division is for all student-athletes that are in the 6th, 5th, or 4th grade. you can choose the division that best fits your own school/municipalities' definition of "middle school".

Athletes competing for a team must have matching team uniforms. All other athletes’ uniforms must follow current USATF rules. Please reference the USATF handbook for any questions.
Teams and fans may set up tents and team areas on the award stand field. Please make sure your tent is not on the course. Please clean up whatever you bring and be cognizant of others using the park as well. Share the space!
